Welcome to The Country Yard

The Country Yard is a craft barn and wedding venue, situated in beautiful rustic gardens at Maungatapere, near Whangarei in Northland.

The gardens have featured in garden tours, and there are many places suitable for weddings and photographs. Garden visits are welcome by arrangement.

Owned by Kerryn and Robbie Walker, The Country Yard also features a large purpose-made craft barn  built to an American barn design. The large space offers an upstairs mezzanine workspace for craft workshops, which are popular and fun.

Kerryn is an expert craftswoman, who shares her expertise in regular workshops. She sells materials and accessories for quilting and other crafts.
